Croatia Airlines hiring new aircraft technicians, aircraft mechanics and mechanics

Croatia Airlines has announced a new recruitment process for several new employees in aircraft maintenance. The national air carrier is looking for aircraft technicians, aircraft mechanics and mechanics, with the new positions based in Velika Gorica and Dubrovnik.

According to Croatia Airlines, as the national air carrier and part of the international air transport system, the company is committed to maintaining the highest quality standards, which is why it pays particular attention to the selection and professionalism of its staff. In this context, the company is filling positions in its technical sector, one of the key parts of any airline.

Candidates with completed secondary aviation, vocational or craft education in a technical field may apply. Examples of suitable professions include sheet metal worker, lathe operator, automotive mechanic, carpenter and similar technical occupations. Work experience and aircraft maintenance licences are not mandatory, which also opens the recruitment process to candidates who are only beginning their professional path in aircraft maintenance.

Candidates are expected to have good knowledge of English, computer skills including MS Office, and a category B driving licence. Future employees will be involved in scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, maintenance work on aircraft, passenger cabins, cargo compartments and equipment, as well as auxiliary tasks supporting licensed technical personnel.

The job description also includes repairs to primary and secondary aircraft structures, composite structures and panels, maintenance of aircraft interior equipment, cockpit cleaning, supervision of cabin cleaning, aircraft towing, storage of aircraft materials and parts, and care for aircraft in storage or inactive status.

Croatia Airlines is offering future employees an employment contract with the place of work in Velika Gorica or Dubrovnik, shift work, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional training, education and development. For the best candidates, the company also offers the possibility of training for an international aircraft maintenance licence and aircraft type rating, which may represent an important step toward a long-term career in aircraft maintenance.
